Organizers of Easter Seals are now looking ahead to another year featuring their new Ambassador, Rowan MacDonald, who lives in Charlottetown.
He is 16 years old and a Grade 10 student at Colonel Grey. His parents are Lisa Parent and Christopher MacDonald, and step-mother Shannon Taylor, and he has two sisters, Beatrix and Paige.
Rowan was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth, and although the diagnosis was unexpected, he has been surrounded by amazing people who have helped him excel.
Rowan attends Camp Gencheff after school and in the summer months. He really enjoys all of the fun he has there, especially the swimming! He also loves horseback riding and has attended Joyriders since 2019. One of his favourite pastimes is dancing, and he has been a member of Dance Virtuosa for two years.
We’re delighted to have ROWAN join us in this busy and important role as our next Ambassador. We know he displays all the characteristics of endurance and positivity that an Easter Seals ambassador should embody.
