Vaeda Zo Matheson –  PEI’s Easter Seals Ambassador

Although she was officially appointed as Ambassador in December 2019, due to Public Health restrictions related to the ongoing COVID pandemic, Vaeda patiently waited until 2022 to begin her role crisscrossing the Island to join our volunteers at sporting and community events as well as our annual Tim Horton’s School Tour.  We’re hoping you’ll have a chance to meet her in person sometime soon, but in the meantime, we’ve created this page so you can learn more about this #UnstoppABLE young Islander.

Vaeda’s motto:  “Be different and follow your heart.

Vaeda lives in Charlottetown. Her parents are Lorrie Jollimore and Jeff Matheson. She attends West Kent Elementary School and loves dancing, performing in plays, attending Joyriders, hanging out with her friends and making videos for her very own YouTube channel.

We like Vaeda’s motto so much, that we decided to make it into a colouring sheet with her official photo.  Click on the photo or this link to download and print your own copy to add your own motto and colour any way you like — be different and follow your heart!  Send a pic of your finished colouring sheet to kelly@eastersealspei.org and we’ll do our best to share it on our social media channels. 🙂
