Easter Seals PEI is now accepting applications from registered charities for its annual provincial grant program.
“We are fortunate our generous donors provide us with the funds that make these grants possible each year,” says Easter Seals PEI Provincial Committee Chair Regan Lewis. “We witness the important work these community organizations are doing every day as they help hundreds of Islanders living with disabilities.”
Registered PEI charities may apply for the grants using an online application form which can be found at https://bit.ly/ESPEIGrants.
The deadline for grant applications is Friday, November 1st at 5:00 p.m. Applications will be reviewed by a sub-committee and grant recipient organizations will be announced mid to late November.
“We are excited to offer new grants shortly to groups that provide valuable programs to their clients,” adds Executive Director Helen Chapman. “ Some examples of projects include attending an adult respite camp, participating in a therapeutic horseback riding program, learning how to run a social enterprise in the community or the education system or helping make a playground more inclusive. Every community is unique and our mission is to help organizations improve the lives of neighbours and friends with disabilities.”
