The event is called the Drop Zone and the money I raise will help support people in PEI with physical and mental disabilities like my son Rowan.
Rowan has made such an impact in our family’s life and the lives of others that I just needed to do something to bring attention to the needs of people with disabilities. And what better way than to tell people you are going to jump off a building and a bridge!
Your donation to my rappel is making a HUGE impact on the programming Easter Seals provides to help children and adults with physical and mental disabilities and special needs. Virtually every cent raised will be put back into the community to assist fellow Islanders. These funds are donated to organizations that assist them, including Camp Gencheff, PEl Special Olympics, and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Physical Medicine Department for specialized equipment.
