The grade nine students from East Wiltshire and Queen Charlotte Intermediate Schools and the adult musicians of the Second Chances Band came together to present this concert at the suggestion of Paul Gaudet, the grandfather of this year’s Provincial Ambassador Luke Gaudet. Paul joined the band as a “raw beginner” in the band’s inaugural year three years ago.

The grade nine band from Queen Charlotte is directed by Sylvia Andrew. This band is made up of the senior students from the Queen Charlotte band program The host band is the made up of the grade nine students from East Wiltshire under the direction of Frank Nabuurs.

What a wonderful night of music!

Students, Teachers, Parents THANK YOU and Way to go Luke! Special thank you to Tim Hortons for all the wonderful work they do for Easter Seals!

After a gruelling and incredible six days on the road in the Tim’s Bus Luke visited 65 schools accompanied by his family, friends, Educational Assistants and Rotarians.

The days were filled with laughter and song as the bus rolled along the Island Roads from school to school.

It never ceases to amaze me the support and generosity of Islanders – children and adults alike.

It was a windy rainy day but that didn’t stop City Collision from hosting a great BBQ.  $1186.14 was raised today by the crew at City Collision.  Thank you to Luke’s Grandfather. Paul, Owner of City Collision amd staff for putting together a great fundraiser for Easter Seals.

Paul is issuing a challenge to the other automotic places!

Jessie collected $2300 in change for Easter Seals.  She presented it on Compass on Monday, April 23rd, 2012.  We can’t thank her enough for her long time support.  Jesse has been collecting change for Easter Seals for 9 years!
